Gabri Veiga happy at Al-Ahli: We now have a house

Gabri Veiga says he's happy at Al-Ahli.

The Spain U21 attacker has rubbished claims Veiga is seeking an escape route out of the Saudi Pro Leauge and wants a return to Celta Vigo.

"I am very calm, with my girlfriend. We are very well. We now have a house and everything is going smoothly. I am adapting little by little to the climate, which at the beginning was somewhat difficult for me because it was so different from the one in Vigo.

"Better moments are going to come, I am going to mature and grow as a footballer," he said in the interview with Pablo Egea.

"What surprised me the most was the real level of football. Anyone who watches the games knows it. The fans are very encouraging, which is important to feel like a footballer

"The first month, the second month... Finish training and not go home, go down for a drink with your friends, be with your girlfriend in peace...

"It's different. Only because there we train in the afternoon because of the weather, although now the temperatures are going to drop a little. It's different because we don't train in the morning. I'm better adapted.

"It's true that it took me a bit to get into the rhythm. Also the emotions didn't help, the weather... But now, working hard and having been there for a few months, I feel better."
