Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand may announce his international retirement after yesterday's snub.

England coach Roy Hodgson went with Liverpool youngster Martin Kelly instead of Ferdinand after Chelsea's Gary Cahill was ruled out of the Euros with a broken jaw.

Ferdinand is furious and is considering issuing his own statement and possibly announcing his retirement from international football at the age of 33, says the Telegraph.
