A furious Chelsea may block defensive pair Cesar Azpilicueta and Marcos Alonso from joining Barcelona after being beaten to the signing of Jules Kounde.

AS says the furious Blues have decided to end negotiations with Barca.

Xavi is looking to re-build the Barcelona squad this summer and is eyeing up many additions, one was Sevilla's Kounde.

Chelsea had agreed a £55million deal for the French centre-back but Barca swooped in at the last minute and look to set to sign him from right under their noses.

The Blues spent a year chasing the 23-year-old and are reportedly embarrassed and unhappy at their transfer rivals' conduct.

Therefore Azpilicueta and Alonso's moves to Spain could now be blocked. The defensive duo both looked set to leave Stamford Bridge this summer.
