Fulham have seen an offer rejected for talented winger Callum Hudson-Odoi by Chelsea.
The two London clubs are likely to engage in further talks about the Blues fringe star.
Hudson-Odoi, who struggled on loan at Bayer Leverkusen, wants to move for regular first team football.
New coach Mauricio Pochettino is now at Chelsea, and has told Hudson-Odoi that he is not in his plans.
The Blues, however, are not going to lose their home grown talent for a cheap fee.
They are expecting Fulham to put in a reasonable bid for the 22-year-old, who was a Bayern Munich target as a teenager.
