French Football opens office in China

The French Football Federation (FFF) and the French Football League (LFP) have announced that they will open a new shared office in Beijing, China, reports, www.sportspromedia.com/.

The two parties will work in conjunction with the Chinese government, and the collaboration is the first time that a soccer association of any country will have an official base in China.

The office will be headed up Romuald Nguyen, the FFF's head of institutional and international affairs. The FFF and LFP are also believed to be interviewing for a local professional to take care of business development in the world's largest country.

The purpose of the Asian headquarters will be to raise the profile of France's soccer leagues in China, increase local interactions, execute bespoke development and strategic plans, and to find Chinese broadcast partners and sponsors.
