Real Madrid midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni has claimed France team-mate Kylian Mbappe is the best player on the planet.

Mbappe and France are set to take on Lionel Messi and Argentina in the World Cup final.

The two superstars, who play for Paris Saint-Germain, will go head to head in the biggest event in the sport.

“For me, Kylian is the best… And he will prove it on Sunday," Tchouameni said, according to TYC Sports.

However, that view was not shared by Antoine Griezmann, who has played with Messi at Barcelona.

“Messi is the best player in the world right now," he told VM Express after his side's win over Morocco in the semi finals.
