France coach Didier Deschamps was delighted with Adrien Rabiot for their World Cup win against Australia.

France won 4-1 last night with Juventus ace Rabiot dominating midfield and scoring the equaliser.

Deschamps enthused: "He's a balanced player, who has volume, who recovers the balls, who also scores, even if I slowed him down a bit at the end because he still wanted to go ahead …

"Having him at this level is very important for us."
