North Queensland Fury star signing Robbie Fowler says he wants to make sure everything is perfect once the new A-League season kicks off.

The former Liverpool striker has commenced training with the new franchise and is intent on preparing correctly this pre-season.

"I am here early to make sure I get plenty of hard work in," said Fowler.

"The pre-season games don't start until May, but I want to be ready for that. I want to make sure I get everything right."
