League Two Crewe are trialling former West Ham left-back Jordan Brown on trial. The 20-year-old was released by the Hammers without making a first-team appearance.
"He has come from West Ham so he is going to be technically good. He
is a bit inexperienced because he hasn't played too much first-team
football, but if he can prove he's worth a deal then we would do
something."
With an eye towards the looming transfer deadline, Davis added: "He is
unattached so there is no fee involved and it doesn't have to be
concluded on Tuesday." "Jordan has been released by West Ham and has come up here so we
can look at him," boss Steve Davis told Crewe's official
website. "We will assess him and if he is good enough then we
would look to do something on a short-term basis.
