Jamie Carragher believes Arsenal are now firmly in the top three teams in the Premier League.
The Gunners joined Manchester City in second place with a 3-1 win over Hull City on Monday night and their form in recent months suggests to ex-Liverpool star Carragher that perhaps Arsene Wenger's men are now ready for an assault on the title next term.
"We say the same thing, they are close. Last year they got into the top four very late," he said on Sky Sports.
"This is different.
"What we've seen of Arsenal of late is that they are with the three best teams now, and then there's a little level to Manchester United and Liverpool just behind.
"I think they've joined those top two sides that we think every season are going to go for the title. They're so close."
