Former Chelsea partners Vitesse in risk of collapse

The Dutch club Vitesse Arnhem is in danger of collapsing in the coming weeks or months.

The Holland-based side, who were branded “Chelsea B" due to the loan agreement between the two clubs, are in serious danger.

Dutch outlet Gelderlander states that the club faces having their professional license withdrawn.

Vitesse have canceled the lease on their ground, which is the result of a row that has been ongoing since 2018.

The club objects to the annual rent of £1.6 million they had to pay to landlord Michael van de Kuit.

Now it appears they have until September to find a new stadium, as they would not be allowed a license to play next season without a ground.
