Nottingham Forest star Morgan Gibbs-White has joked about former teammate Brennan Johnson as the two prepare to meet.

Forest take on Tottenham in the Premier League on Friday as they look to get back to winning ways.

Johnson left Forest for Spurs in the summer, ending a 14 year association with his childhood club.

“I haven't spoken to Brennan about the game yet," Gibbs-White told talkSPORT earlier this week.

“I'll probably get a FaceTime off him, probably asking me what the tactics are!

“It was a blow losing Brennan at the start of the season and especially given the impact he had and the numbers he gave us last season. But we've got in so many good players now and some fresh ones."
