Nottingham Forest manager Nuno Espirito Santo has heaped praise on youngster Joe Gardner.
The 18-year-old was able to show his qualities off the bench in a penalties win over Bristol City in the FA Cup fourth round.
Nuno, who is hoping to help Forest avoid relegation this season, was effusive in his praise for Gardner post-game.
He stated: “He was so happy! Now he is going to realize what happened to him because it was tough when we put him on the pitch.
“He is a young boy who is working with us.
“He did well. He showed a spirit, a character and an energy.
“I'm very happy for him. I hope he has a fantastic career. I will try to help him as much as I can."
