Forest hand Reid new role

Nottingham Forest have managed to retain one of their backroom staff members.

The City Ground club are said to have reached an agreement with Andy Reid to stay on for the coming years.

The 41-year-old is working as a transition coach and scout since the departure of manager Steve Cooper, having been on Cooper's backroom team.

Head coach Nuno Espirito Santo has come in with his own team, which left Reid in a tough position.

Per Nottinghamshire Live, the club have moved to ensure Reid does not depart.

However, the role he will play in the long-term at Forest is still a little unclear.
