Nottingham Forest are keen on Sunderland striker Connor Wickham.
Wickham has been starring on-loan at Sheffield Wednesday in recent weeks.
Forest - owned by the wealthy Fawaz Al-Hasawi - may look at a loan move with a view to a permanent deal, says the Evening Chronicle.
Sunderland may decide that now is the time to cash in on a player they paid £8m for two-and-a-half years ago but who has failed to break into the first-team on Wearside.
