Nottingham Forest boss Nuno was delighted with his players for their 3-1 win at Newcastle United.

Chris Wood struck all three goals as Forest came from behind to win on Boxing Day.

Nuno later said: "It was very good and well deserved. I think the boys played very well. It's amazing so let's enjoy it.

"It's hard work, it's tough. We have the talent but it's about keeping on going. We will go again.

"We know Newcastle press very high. We know when the moment is there, we have to spin and go. It's all about their attitude to the game. Now we have to rest and recover. The next game is a tough one. I think we can deliver a good game again.

"We know how Newcastle play, they are very aggressive. If you keep the ball and beat the press then you know you will have places."

On naming Morgan Gibbs-White as captain, he added: "He's playing very good and I think he can lead the team."
