Forest boss Cooper delighted with Sangare impact

Nottingham Forest summer signing Ibrahim Sangare has been impressing fans and his teammates alike.

The club record signing arrived from PSV Eindhoven less than two months ago.

Sangare, who was previously linked to clubs playing in European competitions, has found his feet quickly in the Premier League.

Boss Steve Cooper is happy with Sangare's versatility, stating after using him in a more advanced midfield role against Brentford: “He has done that quite a bit in his career. You could see him driving forward and trying to get into the box with Nicolas.

“Ibrahim got man of the match from the supporters, so they will have liked some of the things they saw. It's only his third game in England, and it takes time to really get into it.

“Sometimes you have to put players in certain positions - like we did with Danilo last year - to really get up to speed with how it is. We're really happy with him. The exciting bit is we know he's only going to get better."
