Chelsea face a battle to keep hold of Thiago Silva beyond the end of this season.
The defender is being offered terms into the next campaign.
But new Fluminense boss Marcao wants to bring Thiago Silva back to Brazil.
He said: "Right on time, he [Silva] saw the message and said, 'I'm going there to assist you'.
"I said, 'Hey, not as an assistant, come to play here, come to help us, you'll be very welcome'.
"A great affection, we exchange messages every day."
Silva, 36, played for Fluminense as a youngster before he joined Barcelona's youth ranks in 2000.
