Fiorentina striker Lucas Beltran says Europe remains their target.

Beltran was speaking before tonight's clash with Lazio.

He said, "I think that, first of all, we must keep our feet on the ground, work with humility and sacrifice, to try to get as high as possible. We're talking about having a better championship than last year, we'll try to give everything we have at our disposal. Europe? That's the goal, yes.

"When we Argentinians talk about Fiorentina or Florence, Batistuta immediately comes to mind. And many other Argentines who played here. For me it gives me great pride to be here, to wear Batistuta's No9 shirt number. I hope to take us as high as possible to honour him."

Finally, on comparisons with Inter Milan captain Lautaro Martinez, he added: "Obviously the comparison with Lautaro flatters me, he is having a great season, 22 goals is an incredible number. I also had him as a teammate in the national team: I learned a lot by watching him play.

"I have a reference player: I try to learn from everyone, even from my teammates who I see every day in training."
