Fiorentina coach Stefano Pioli explained dropping Giovanni Simeone for their draw at Torino.

Fiorentina surprisingly started with Kevin Mirallas and Valentin Eysseric, leaving Simeone on the bench.

Pioli said, “I was not satisfied with his recent performances and there were other players who had impressed me more during the week.

"We brought home a good result, considering we didn't play well, and that is nothing to be sniffed at," said Pioli in his Press conference.

“In the second half we actually played better and had the best scoring opportunities. We struggled with their pressing and didn't move enough off the ball."
