Fiorentina coach Stefano Pioli admits they're keen on AS Roma midfielder Gerson.

However, he insists a deal is not yet over the line.

"We have many talents who are growing," he told Sky Sport Italia.

“One of the best things is that none of them have peaked. If another lad with talent comes in then great, his qualities will be made available to the team.

“Do I like him? Yes. He has some great qualities and features, but I don't think he's our player yet."
