Fiorentina coach Vincenzo Italiano says he retains confidence in Dusan Vlahovic.

The Serb star is set to be sold next summer after refusing to consider new contract talks.

"The Vlahovic case is between him and his personal affairs," Italiano said. “I don't want to talk about it anymore.

“As for his performances, we have to try to give him a big hand to put him in a position to receive more balls and I think we can do it.

“I hope the stadium is on the side of the team for 90 minutes. I think every supporter must have the ability to push for the whole game. Then, if you don't appreciate it in the end, after the curtains are closed, you can say what you want.

“The team at this moment are approaching the game well, but having the ball is not enough."
