FIGC President Giancarlo Abete is demanding better from AC Milan striker Mario Balotelli.

Balotelli was sent off last Friday in Italy's draw with the Czech Republic.

"Of course we expect goals and great performances from Balotelli, not problems," Federation chief Abete told Sky Sport Italia.

"If we look back to the famous Italy-Germany in Euro 2012, we can always expect exceptional results from him.

"He is a main character, both in technical terms and for the media."
