Sir Alex Ferguson says he only joined Manchester United because of Sir Bobby Charlton.
Charlton was laid to rest on Monday.
Ferguson spoke to the Telegraph after attending Charlton's funeral.
"I am at United because of Bobby Charlton. From the day I came, he supported me 100 percent, all the way in what I wanted to do in terms of the youth," said Ferguson.
"As I say, I'm only at Manchester United because of Bobby Charlton."
