Adam Federici has revealed he was prepared to play for Reading for nothing when he was trying to break into English football. Federici, 23, worked his way up from fifth pick to Marcus Hahnemann's deputy and gets his chance at home to Norwich as the No 1 is injured.
He said: "I went to a lot of clubs and they all said they couldn't take a chance on me as I had no experience.
"I said I'd play for nothing and Steve Coppell at Reading was the only manager to give me a go. I want to show him he was right to have faith in me."
