FC Twente won't consider reviving their partnership with Manchester United.
Twente admits while there was potential over the collaboration, it simply suffered from a lack of organisation.
United had planned to send players from partners Brasil Deportivo to Twente to accelerate their development and gain a European passport. But only one player, Gladstony, managed to make the switch and even then was forced to sit out six months after a registration cock-up.
"The collaboration with United bled to death," said Cees Lok, technical manager of FC Twente to TC Tubantia. "The intentions were good and it could certainly have paid off.
"We have talked a lot with the people at Manchester United and will maintain contact. It could have been a success."
