FC Luzern chief Meyer warns Leeds of Jashari price

FC Luzern sporting director Remo Meyer has warned Leeds United over their interest in Ardon Jashari.

Leeds and Middlesbrough are interested in Jashari.

"I currently don't think it's realistic that there will be a transfer with Ardon this winter," Meyer told Pilatus Today.

"On the one hand, we have our clear ideas about the transfer fee. On the other hand, (a sale) must also suit the player."

Jashari himself has said that he won't be focusing on the transfer rumours throughout the window, with him solely looking to help his current team do as well as possible.

"I heard about the rumours," the Switzerland international explained last week. "There's no getting around that. But I'm happy now that I can get back on the pitch to train with the team.

"For me, the focus is clearly on Luzern, so that I can prepare well and without injury. The timing would have to be right for me to decide to switch now."
