Rayo Vallecano produced a 3-0 victory over Getafe in LaLiga Santander on Saturday afternoon.
An early Oscar Trejo penalty sent Rayo on their way to the three points. In the second half, Ismaila Ciss and summer signing Radamel Falcao added goals of their own to seal the home team's three-point haul.
There was great expectation ahead of Falcao's debut, with fans queueing outside the stadium from early in the morning to claim a ticket. The Colombian didn't start, but came on to a standing ovation in the 71st minute.
Shortly afterwards, Ciss doubled Rayo Vallecano's lead. Then came the moment the fans had been waiting and hoping for.
Ciss was involved again, threading an excellent ball through to El Tigre, who beat the offside trap, controlled perfectly and then fired into the far corner.
He celebrated in front of his new team's fans in the corner, having capped off a memorable afternoon in Vallecas.
