The FA are insisting Arsenal attacker Bukayo Saka join with the England squad today.
Saka missed Sunday's win against Manchester City due to injury, with manager Mikel Arteta insisting the winger would not be joining up with England.
He suffered a hamstring strain defeat to Champions League opponents Lens in midweek.
Saka's record-breaking run of 87 consecutive Premier League appearances came to an end when he was left out of the squad on Sunday.
The London Evening Standard says talks between Arsenal and the FA were continuing on Monday morning but Saka is expected to report to St George's Park as planned, where he would be assessed by medical staff.
