Former Wigan Athletic and Hull City striker Caleb Folan has joined Birmingham City on a short-term deal.

The 29-year old has been out of contract since finishing up with MLS side Colorado Rapids at the end of 2011 and will play for the Blues until the end of the season.

Folan will go straight into the squad for this weekend's home clash with Derby County as Birmingham look to improve on their current position of fifth in the Championship.
