Former Spain coach Luis Enrique admits he regrets not playing Pablo Sarabia more.
Enrique says the PSG attacker deserved more minutes in Qatar.
He told streamer Ibai Gomez: “Pablo Sarabia should have been given more minutes. In the Euros, he was spectacular. At PSG he played zero, against Jordan he was not inspired.
"Training he looked good. Now I would have made him the starter (against Morocco). I don't beat myself up, I have to make a decision and maybe we would have lost just the same. It came out all backwards.
“I feel like we missed a very good opportunity because the group was very good. I look at the semifinalists and none of them are better than us. I feel very bad for young people. From day one we wanted to convince them that we had a real chance of winning.
"Except for the 12 minutes against Japan, I think we were very good in the group stage. I am, well, I was, the person in charge..."
