Former Roma midfielder Gaetano D'Agostino says Romelu Lukaku will improve the Giallorossi.
However, he is unsure if the on-loan Chelsea striker will transform Roma into title contenders.
D'Agostino told TMW Radio: "Lukaku's arrival should give the team a boost. To say that Roma will be in the fight for the Scudetto, however, seems too much to me, also because in other departments the team is not complete.
"The defence is quite slow and the only one able to give verticality back there, i.e. Ibanez, is gone. In addition, I think that for the interpreters Mourinho has at his disposal, he could change formation, with two midfielders in front of the defence, or deploy Zalewski as a midfielder if he wants to keep the three in midfield. The quality on the wing is not enough to play with the 3-5-2 or the 3-4-2-1."
