Former Real Madrid midfielder Flavio Conceicao is backing Endrick for great success with Los Merengues.

Flavio was Real president Florentino Perez's second ever signing back in 2000, arriving from Deportivo La Coruna.

He now runs an academy near Rio Branco and told AS: "We are facing an impressive future project. This season, in the final months, we have begun to see only the tip of the iceberg of what can come. He has a lot of talent, ambition and a splendid future.

"He has a little bit of each one (Romario and Ronaldo), and even some Ronaldinho Gaúcho. The expectations that have been created for him are enormous. Let's not forget that he is only a 17-year-old boy, but if he is lucky with injuries and is tenacious in his daily work he can reach their level.

"He will need an adaptation. He goes to a huge club and the jump to Europe is sometimes not easy, but that personality I'm talking about is going to come in very handy in that process.

"It is not easy to succeed in Madrid due to the greatness of the club and the demands it imposes, but Endrick can become a world star playing for Real Madrid."
