Former Real Madrid goalkeeper Santiago Canizares has taken aim at Roma coach Jose Mourinho.

Mourinho was filmed abusing ref Anthony Taylor after their Europa League final shootout defeat to Sevilla.

Canizares told Radio Marca: "Mourinho is a great coach who makes teams perform, but he doesn't know education, principles or sportsmanship. He has unfortunate attitudes.

"But you see it as normal that Sevilla is going to take the last penalty and congratulate Mendilibar.

"Then he gives away the medal because he says he doesn't like silver medals... He dishonors football a bit. I reached two Champions League finals and lost them. Others watched them from home. This helps us to value the rest of the coaches. Mourinho is very responsible for ensuring that young people in training copy his attitudes.

"But having said that, he is a very good coach."
