Mauro Milanese is enjoying his role as football director of Leyton Orient.
The former QPR midfielder is thriving in the post.
"I have already played in England at QPR, for two seasons, and so I understand English football, what is demanded," he told TMW.
"I've benefited from this experience, but it is a different kind of football, which relies heavily on speed, the physicality, it is less tactical, more fun for the audience and at the same level of class I would say that English football today is higher (than Italian).
"I build relationships with agents. I work between the coach and the market.
"We have an Italian president, not all in this division have a sports director. Usually its the manager who takes care of the market, but now it's changing."
