Former Norway coach Nils Johan Semb is delighted for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer after he guided Manchester United to the Europa League final.

Solskjaer oversaw United's 8-5 aggregate semifinal victory over Roma.

Semb told VG: "It is a Norwegian who is a coach in one of the largest clubs in the world. To take the team to a final then it hangs high.

"It is a rebuilding of a big club he is working on. It has not been an easy road for him. There have been many reefs in the sea, and there have been many negative opinions. But he has kept a steady course and succeeded. It is a great achievement.

"I am very impressed and very happy that he succeeds."
