Hatem Ben Arfa will officially join French club Nice for the 2015/16 season.

The 28-year old winger was set to link up with Nice in January but was unable to sign with the club after featuring for both Newcastle United's reserves and Hull City's seniors in the first half of the campaign.

Nice president Jean-Pierre Riviere said: "Hatem Ben Arfa gave us his word. He has had offers but he's stuck to his agreements."

The 13-time France international now gets the chance to return to Ligue 1 where he made a name for himself with Lyon and Marseille prior to his 2010 loan move and subsequent permanent shift to Newcastle.
