Former Manchester United star Bryan Robson has quit his role as Thailand national team manager.
The 54-year old recently underwent surgery for throat cancer and although it was said he wanted to resume his duties, he has resigned from his post.
"Bryan wished to resign and his contract was terminated by mutual consent, but I cannot give any more details," Thailand football's president Worawi Makudi said.
The former England captain took the job in September 2009 but has now stepped down from his job with The War Elephants.
