Ex-Man Utd star Kanchelskis: Mudryk shouldn't worry about €100M Chelsea price-tag

Former Manchester United and Russia star Andrei Kanchelskis says Mykhaylo Mudryk shouldn't be concerned by his €100m price-tag.

Doubts have been raised whether the former Shakhtar Donetsk winger can handle the weight of his record price.

But Kanchelskis told Metaratings.ru: "Mudryk, Chelsea took on the prospect, this year it will be difficult for them to compete for something. They take the players for the next year.

"Since they paid that kind of money for Mykhaylo, it means they thought he was worth it, maybe the agents did a good job. If he develops further and Chelsea trust him, then he can play.

"In general, now such prices for players at 100 million are no longer considered some exorbitant price, there are transfers that are more expensive. Previously, buying for 10 million was considered something incredible, but now 15, and 20, and 50 million are not considered money, so there is nothing like that.

"Football has long been a business. And that kind of money doesn't matter as before."
