Ex-Man Utd, Man City striker Tevez announces retirement plans

Former Manchester City, Juventus and Manchester United striker Carlos Tevez has announced his retirement.

Tevez says he will retire when Boca Juniors' campaign in the Copa Libertadores is completed.

The 36-year-old returned to South America in 2018 for a third stint with his boyhood club, having moved from Juventus to Boca in 2015 but moving to Shanghai Shenhua in 2017.

A gold-medal winner alongside Lionel Messi at the 2004 Olympic games in Athens, Tevez made 76 appearances for his nation and scored 13 goals.
