Former Manchester United defender Gabriel Heinze has been linked with a move to Arsenal.

Heinze is being lined up to join Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta's staff.

He has had spells in charge of Atlanta United and Newell's Old Boys.

ESPN Argentina report that Heinze is a character that Arteta likes, particularly coaches Carlos Cuesta and Albert Stuivenberg being linked with moves away.

Cuesta is a target for Norwich and Stuivenberg with Ajax.
