Former Liverpool captain Jamie Redknapp has faith in midfielder Naby Keita.

Redknapp knows of the pressures of playing in central midfield for the Anfield club.

And while Keita has been slow to adapt to the Premier League since his big money move from RB Leipzig, he has shown his talent near the end of last season.

And Redknapp thinks he will have a big campaign this time around.

He told the Liverpool Echo: "One player who I think could have a big season is Naby Keita.

"He struggled when he first arrived, but during the end of last season and from what I've seen in pre-season, he looks bang in form.

"I'm looking forward to seeing him show the player we thought we were signing from Leipzig originally."
