Former Liverpool goalkeeper Adam Bogdan has lavished praise on a club superstar.

Bogdan was asked about the quality of the club's no.1, Brazilian keeper Alisson Becker.

Bogdan admits that some of the saves that Alisson pulls off are “supernatural" and that he is one of the best on the planet.

Speaking to The Kopite Podcast, Bogdan stated; "You see, it's hard for me because I haven't trained with him, but, for me, he seems to be more like a supernatural goalkeeper.

"He has an unbelievable talent, ability-wise when he has to. He must be close to 100KGs, but he has the legs for it. He's got so much power, his positioning is excellent, he's so brave and relaxed at the same time. He's the perfect goalie, for me.

"When I left and we had [Loris] Karius and Simon [Mignolet], it didn't really work out although they played many games and we got to the Champions League Final with them, and I said at the time you need to go for the best goalkeeper in the world for the biggest price it can get to.

"Liverpool certainly got the one and it's proven right when Alisson won the team many medals with his performances - unbelievable, to be honest.

"Without a goalkeeper making unbelievable saves, you don't get to the Champions League finals these days and certainly Liverpool has one of the best in the world. Liverpool fans can count themselves very lucky to have him."
