Former Juventus midfielder Massimo Mauro was impressed by their young wing-backs for victory over Udinese.
Timothy Weah and Andrea Cambiaso caught the eye of Mauro.
He told La Repubblica: "Juventus in Udine had a great first half with two wonderful new players, Andrea Cambiaso and Timothy Weah, who with simplicity but great effectiveness have allowed (Fede) Chiesa to make a difference.
"I would dwell above all on Weah, who defended well despite having different characteristics: for (Max) Allegri such a player could be of fundamental importance. It was a good Juve because Udinese, despite making a lot of mistakes in the defensive phase, seem like a good team.
"Too soon to speak in this sense, it is certain that from a physical point of view not doing Europe helps. The coach can better manage the problems to be solved, he has much more time. Obviously I remain of the opinion that making Europe is better, but the situation must be taken into consideration."
