Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham should be a Juventus player.

That's according to former Juventus chief scout Matteo Tognozzi, who was just named sporting director of Granada.

He recalled to Tuttosport: "I definitely think of Bellingham, who we were close to in 2019. In a few days I will meet him at the Bernabeu and it has a certain effect on me to think back to when I met him and his extraordinary family: it is a memory that I jealously guard.

"In that case, however, he had simply decided to continue his growth path in his usual club, namely Birmingham.

"We were really one step away from (Erling) Haaland. It was November 2017, then he was still on the bench at Molde, but within a few weeks he started playing and scoring, so everyone pounced on him."
