Former Inter Milan and Parma star Adriano has cut short his stay with Atletico Paranaense.
L'Imperatore had tried to make a new step in his career by signing for Atletico Paranaense on January 6, scoring one goal in three Copa Libertadores games.
However, he skipped two training sessions and was pictured at a nightclub late Thursday night.
The club had a meeting with the 32-year-old and they have terminated the contract by mutual agreement.
"I am grateful to Atletico for giving me the chance to play again. It's a shame about the way it ended, but I want to continue doing what I love the most: playing football."
