Former Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti has slammed the signing of Romelu Lukaku.

On-loan from Chelsea, Lukaku struggled with a thigh injury ahead of the World Cup break up.

Moratti said, “We almost forgot the fact that Inter are doing without the player they had based everything on, Lukaku.

"A big rip-off, he has practically never played."

Moratti also backed Suning not to sell the club.

“Yes, that's the situation. And I think it is also the best choice, as every change is a big shock for any club. The longer the same owners stay, the better."
