Former Fiorentina midfielder Borja Valero has recalled playing with Liverpool star Mohamed Salah.
Salah had a spell on-loan at Fiorentina from Chelsea.
Valero, now playing for semipro Centro Storico Lebowsk, said: “I remember our very first training session together. He has this unique characteristic you don't notice. Everyone thinks of his pace or dynamism, which is all true, but I am referring to his ability to win every single ricochet.
“You could try to take him on, one on one, but knew full well he'd end up going past you.
"Even kicking him was out of the question, he'd already be five metres away by the time you turned around."
