Former Chelsea midfielder Claude Makelele is backing Jose Mourinho for the PSG job.

The former Chelsea boss has been offered to PSG by his agent Jorge Mendes with current coach Thomas Tuchel under huge pressure after defeat in the Coupe de France final and elimination at the round 16 stage of the Champions League.

Mendes has told PSG chiefs that Mourinho would be the coach to bring the Champions League title to Paris.

And Makelele, who played for Mourinho at Stamford Bridge, agrees.

"Would it be a good idea for Mourinho to go to PSG? Yes," he told Telefoot.
