Former Everton and Chelsea manager Frank Lampard could have found his next job.

The ex-England midfielder has been out of work since caretaker role with Chelsea last season.

However, he could be set for a shock return to the dugout at Championship side Bristol City.

Per the Bristol Post, Lampard is a serious option for the struggling club, who are in 15th place.

Bristol City have only won five of their 14 league matches so far this term, leading to the sacking of Nigel Pearson.

Lampard has experience in the Championship, having managed Derby County.
